Includes:
Professional, Licensed Bartender
Professional, Licensed Bartender for beer, wine, and/or mixed drinks service with all necessary Washington State permits
Insured service with General Liability and Liquor Liability
Additionally-insured certificate available with advance request (must be requested at least 10-days prior to event date to allow for turn-around time from broker.)
Standard Barware (Drink-Making) Equipment
Wine keys, bottle openers, shakers, muddlers, strainers, jiggers, bar spoons, pour spouts, cutting board, paring knife, garnish peelers, bar mats, bar towels, beverage napkins, and garnish picks.
Staffing Requirements
We require 1 Bartender be staffed per every 75 guests in attendance
We have a 4-hour Event Booking Minimum, including the required 1-hour setup time and 30-minute teardown time. Event does not need to take place for 2.5 hours, however bartender service will not be charged on less than 4 hours of setup/service/teardown time.
Standard events hold a maximum of 5 hours of alcohol service time, depending on event timeline for meal service (ie. Weddings, Corporate Dinners, Birthday Celebrations, etc). Should the guest count be 75-or-less guests and the event have a longer than 5-hour duration an additional bartender will be required in order to comply with State of WA employee break requirements.

TIP JAR DISPLAYED
A tip jar & Venmo digital tipping signage will be tastefully displayed at the bar for cash/digital gratuity throughout the event. If allowing for a tip jar, a reduced Hosted Gratuity will be applied to the invoice total based on $50 per staffed bartender per 4 hours of service time.
Events with over 4 hours of service time will have an increased Hosted Gratuity depending on the length of the event.
Request for tip jar to not be displayed must be made in advance of final payment.
Tip Jar display required for Cash Bar events.
TIP JAR NOT DISPLAYED
If a tip jar is not to be displayed, a Hosted Gratuity will be applied to the invoice total based on $100 per staffed bartender for a 6 hour event. Hosted Gratuity of $150 applies to events with service time longer than 4 hours. Request for tip jar to not be displayed must be made in advance of final payment.

A service charge is applied to the sub-total of all events. This charge covers all the costs associated with operating our service that is not covered in the hourly rate including event and business insurances, administrative processing, permits and licenses, delivery and transportation, storage, etc.

For the State of WA an event with alcohol service at a business / commercial location, where Seattle Bartending Co. is not providing the alcohol for service, requires purchase of a Banquet Permit through the WA Liquor Control Board: https://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/banquet-permits
The permit must be printed, signed, and displayed at the bar during your event and is purchased by the Host - cannot be purchased by SBCo. For questions, please contact the WA State Liquor Control Board directly.

PARKING
We ask that parking be easily reached within a short radius of the venue for the safety of our staff. Please provide information on any complimentary parking or designated parking for the event’s venue.
If complimentary parking is provided a parking fee of $15 per bartender applies.
SETUP AREA
We require the bar service/setup area be fully covered and that the area be heated/cooled as necessary to avoid harsh/inclement weather working conditions for the service staff. Under our safe service requirements due to COVID-19 measures, we also require that there be 6’x6’ working space set aside for the bar setup and proper space cleared in front of the bar setup.
LOAD ZONE + ACCESSIBILITY
As our equipment can be very heavy (and large) the delivery/setup team cannot load-in or load-out via stairs. For setup of the bar(s) and for any of our additional rentals/services (outside of the standard barware that the Bartender brings), we will require route from the load zone to the bar setup area be ADA accessible.
